New intuitive HMI tool: “Candera Studio” to be introduced at Embedded World 2023
Feb 24, 2023
Candera Studio is the brand-new HMI creation software for industrial, medical, and white goods industries, as well as other advanced embedded or individual HMIs. Easily accessible, intuitive to use – even for users without any coding experience – Candera Studio accepts any input (graphical files) and can output to any embedded hardware on which user interfaces are displayed. Candera is opening up to new users and new markets – highlighting Candera’s mission statement: “Candera is where Humans and Machines Interact: In displays of embedded devices.”
Embedded World is back in their original time slot in mid-March, and so is the Candera team, presenting for the first time in Europe their brand-new HMI tool Candera Studio, the perfect toolkit for easily creating a graphical user interface (GUI) for any application – from industrial automation to household or medical devices to various white goods. Learn how fast and easy HMI creation can be!
Visit Candera in hall 4, booth 4-479, at Embedded World, held from March 14th to 16th in Nuremberg, Germany.
What is new about Candera Studio? Here is a sneak preview:
Candera Studio: Easy access – for new users, and new markets
Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) used to be found primarily in expensive machines such as automobiles. However with increasing computing power of microchips and decreasing prices, paired with expectations of users, GUIs are becoming increasingly sought after in various markets.
Candera Studio makes it easy for beginners and professionals alike to create HMIs for embedded devices. The software is scalable, hardware-independent, and extremely flexible. You can go from your initial idea to the finished product faster than ever before.
A free trial version is available.
Candera Studio includes ready-to-use controls, automated workflows, integrated state machines and an AI-powered Smart Importer, the latter of which uses artificial intelligence to recognize relevant components such as buttons, sliders, gauges, etc., and suggests the appropriate function for each element. You only have to select the appropriate component and define its property. Check the result immediately in a simulation of the Candera Studio Player. In a few minutes, you have created a fully functional HMI.
Creating an HMI is 3 easy steps:
Candera Studio: Fusion Editor
Candera Studio’s ease of use comes from its features such as the Fusion Editor, which could be seen as one of the turning points in easy HMI creation. By showing logic and behaviors visually, it opens up HMI creation to users without any programming skills. Designers can apply HMI functions to their own designs – no need to know how to code.
Candera Studio: HMI creation software for all industrial applications
With HMIs becoming more and more popular in various markets, new groups of users need adequate support from software that is made for them. Smaller teams, teams with a majority design background (as opposed to software engineers), or simply groups of users who are new to HMI creation.
Candera Studio gives all those an easy entry in the form of broad online documentation, a vast Getting Started – but above all an overall approach to HMI creation that is made with a designer’s mindset in mind.
From coffee and washing machines to home and industry automation
With Candera Studio, HMI creation is now accessible for a wide variety of industries to create their own HMIs.
